Nissan Quest Ribbon Cable for Instrument Cluster LCD Pixel Repair
New ribbon cable for Nissan Quest (2004-2006) Instrument cluster pixel repair.
Applicable for:
Nissan Quest 2004-2006 (pre-facelift) with or without navigation
Please re-use thick plastic attached to the original cable and stick it to this ribbon cable. After you solder the ribbon cable to the LCD - we strongly suggest to cover the contact side with a piece of tape (of course keeping the part which goes into the connector on the circuit board uncovered)
The problem of missing pixels probably most common for all above mentioned models. It is not only very frustrating to have an expensive car and being unable to see the mileage or information messages, but some states require mileage to be visible during the emission test.
Small tip before you purchase - there is a chance that you'll need new LCD display as well and if you'll re-use your existing LCD display - new ribbon cable installation will not help. So if you decided that you are able to perform the installation - disassemble your instrument cluster and inspect the condition of your original LCD screen before you order this part.

If you concluded, that you need the new LCD display - there is a challenge to get one. You'll need to find dead cluster and utilize the LCD from it. Most common places: eBay or junk yard.
Make sure, that you have special soldering iron T-Tip for installation (type TTIP into the search box).
